I began my digital communications career way back in 2003 when my role for a youth charity developed a digital focus and in 2006 I set up my first ever Facebook Business Page to connect to our young trustees. Since then I have advised various organisations on their digital marketing and community-building strategies including national NHS and governmental bodies and at Digital Mums I have delivered consultancy sessions to hundreds of small businesses and have trained thousands of women in social media. I am also an award-winner course designer and teacher, receiving the Digital Leaders 100 award in 2021. In recognition of my role supporting women to upskill I have been awarded Red Woman of the Year, won the Marie-Claire Future Shapers award, Women in Software award and was named one of Stella Magazine's 40 women over 40 shaping the internet.
